As a business owner, it is important for me to support the community that my business serves and not just from a crime perspective.
I’m a passionate Yorkshireman who cares about my community, from our schools, to our hospitals and our local economy.
I’m not just talking about something that looks good on your corporate and social responsibility policy.
I have a duty to give back where possible, that’s why I’ve become a proud member of the management board of Morley Chamber of Trade and Commerce, who are the local chamber where our Head Office is based. I have taken the ownership of attracting new members, Morley has 2,500 registered businesses with my target being to attract as many of them as possible to become members.
We are close to our community, this means we understand the local issues affecting our customers, whether they be security or economy related. Our strapline of Keeping Yorkshire Safe and Secure goes beyond business, it means the protecting the community as a whole.
Being local allows us to build stronger relationships which in turn helps us deliver more meaningful value to our customers and the wider community.
